Advocacy Initiatives
The Center for New North Carolinians urges the community to advocate for equitable health care services. It is crucial that we express our concerns about the breakdown of health services for refugees, immigrants and the indigent who lack health insurance and primary health care providers. One mechanism is to communicate this concern to our state and local representatives and urge them to refund Healthserve and expand Medicaid services to those in need.
