CNNC commitment to promoting access and integration for immigrants and refugees
UNCG’s Center for New North Carolinians (CNNC) is committed to promoting access and integration for immigrants and refugees in North Carolina. We are also a model for how institutions of higher education all over the country can mobilize their resources and community partnerships to do the same. Over the last two decades, the CNNC has engaged in deep and meaningful ways with the various groups and populations who have come to call Greensboro home. As we welcome thousands of Afghani evacuees to our nation, the CNNC remains committed to this mission and to providing support for other institutions of higher education, organizations, and partners who wish to support our most recent newcomers. Please stay tuned for ways in which you can be involved in our state’s efforts to welcome its newest residents.
