Get to know us
I grew up in Greensboro. I was given the opportunity to volunteer with the Center for New North Carolinians at the beginning of last November in their food pantries and never stopped. Every time I came home from volunteering my heart was full and I knew I was making a difference. So, I decided I wanted a more permanent position. After completing my AmeriCorps service, my goal is to continue volunteering in my community. I’d like to continue making a difference in any way I can while learning about other cultures and growing connections with my community members.
During my free time, I love going on walks and hikes, putting together jigsaw puzzles, cooking and throwing raw broccoli to my cats. A fun fact about me is I think slugs are super cool.
