As the 2017-18 service year begins, the AmeriCorps ACCESS Project enters its 21st year of national community service.

The ACCESS Project is supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the North Carolina Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service.  We thank UNCG and our community partners for their continued support.

And we welcome new and returning ACCESS members who will be serving immigrants and refugees in Burlington, Durham, Charlotte, Greensboro, and Raleigh over then next 11 months.

1st year members:  Mentzie Abdul Rahman, Erin Bagwell, Federica Brandi, Dominique Brown, Millie Chang, Stacey Che, Beryl Cherono, Say Eh Christ, Amber Handy, Elizabeth Lyons, Jennifer Matlock, Merritt McCully, Miranda Newby, Erin Sexton, Kendal Thomas, and Julia Whalen.

2nd year members:  Jennifer Gorman, Michael Jarman, Taylor Schor, Hadiza Soumaila, and Mariah Woody.

3rd year members:  Tawanna Maryland and Ghaisha Yahaya-Mohamed.

4th year member:  Edith Walson.
