Volunteer Now

Volunteering with the CNNC is a great way to serve others while building bridges between new and existing communities in the Greensboro area. Volunteers eager to welcome newcomers in our community are needed on an ongoing basis. You can commit to one morning/afternoon a week for three hours to multiple days a week, if inspired. Below are several ways to get involved while helping to welcome our newest neighbors!

You can:

  • Assist as English Learner Partners (ELP) assisting adults in conversation, and their children in reading adventures in our weekly ESOL classes.
  • Mentor and tutor school-aged immigrant & refugee youth, Monday-Thursday 3-6pm
  • We are recruiting for our late spring team, May-mid-June while area universities are closed but Guilford County Schools are still in session
    • If you are local and able to help to with after-school tutoring during this time, let us know!
