Jenna Richardson

Jenna Richardson is a Greensboro native. She has devoted eight years of her life to teaching English as a second language. She started her career teaching English in Chongqing China. This opportunity inspired her to take an instructor position at Davidson-Davie Community College. All of her students were immigrants and refugees from all over the world. She enjoyed working with them and hearing their stories. This experience made her want to become a better instructor and pursue a graduate degree. She received a Masters in Education from UNCG in 2020. Jenna chose to work with the AmeriCorps ACCESS Project because she want to give back to my community. She hopes that my experience can guide others towards learning useful working skills. She strongly believe in the idea of learning by doing. Jenna loves to learn new things about other cultures through reading, conversation, and travel.
