Mary Anne Busch
Mary Anne began her tenure at CNNC in 2002 as an AmeriCorps member following her retirement as a professor from twenty-three years in higher education. She received her BSW, MSW and PHD in Social Work from UNC-Greensboro, UNC-Chapel Hill and USC-Columbia, respectively. She has been involved with CNNC Community Centers since their inception and is currently Internship Coordinator for CNNC. She loves working with students from a broad range of majors and encourages cross pollination of information and skills among the interns. She is the mother of four and grandmother of six although many others may claim her as their mother/grandmother. Mary Anne is an avid traveler and has volunteered with her husband, Chris, for over 20 years, at Corrymeela an international peace and reconciliation center in Ballycastle, Northern Ireland.
